The Rose

Today Abby turned one. We can hardly believe it! We can't even think of a time when this sweet girl wasn't in our lives. She has truly blessed us by her laughter and sweet smile.

We had a pretty regular day today since Jon had to work and we plan to celebrate her birthday with a party and some family tomorrow. However, on Jon's way from home today he called me to tell me that he was going to run to the store to pick some things up. I had figured that it would be something for dinner but he told me that he wanted to start a tradition with him and Abby where he would buy her a rose for every year of her life. And so, here is Abby's first rose. Who better to get it from than her daddy! So sweet!
