A Runner's Prayer

Tonight as I was talking with my son he asked about my race tomorrow. He asked if I was going to win and I told him no but that I was going to do my best. He then asked if he could pray for me and my race and I said yes.

This is how the prayer went:

"Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this day.

Please be with my mom tomorrow in her race.

Help her to uh......not lose.

In Jesus' name,

Amen."
