I absolutely LOVE this fabric! I have loved it ever since I saw it in a Pottery Barn Kids catalog. I was trying to get ideas for how to decorate Abby's room and I saw a chair that was covered in this fabric...big basil beads. I never thought much of it until I showed it to my friend, Stacey, who had come over to help me choose the color for Abby's walls. I told her how much I loved it and really wanted to do Abby's room with something along those lines. I already had her crib bumper picked out be we talked about how it might just go with the bumper. Well, that was the end of the conversation, or so I thought. A few weeks later Jon started taking pieces of my rocking chair and told me to trust him and that he was going to get the chair recovered. I was REALLY nervous because I didn't think that he would be able to get the colors matched. Fast forward to my baby shower and my hostesses handed me this long tube to unwrap. When asked what I thought it was I said a didgeridoo jokingly. I unwrapped it to find that it was the EXACT same fabric of the chair that I liked in the PBK catalog! (*Note: They had already gotten me 3 of my crib sheets & my bird stroller blanket from PBK-you have to know that I am in a really big birds phase right now!) I was so excited and was then told that one of my hostesses was going to get it upholstered to fit my rocking chair...hence Jon taking pieces of the rocking chair. He was in talks with Stacey about this all along. (I did know they were talking about something because Stacey had asked for Jon's number.) And now, here it is in all its glory! We just got it this past weekend and I have not wasted any time rocking Abby in it. In fact we have all sat in it and enjoyed it!
