Election Day

As I look through Facebook I am reading over and over of the people who are voting today. Awesome! As a former teacher, I loved teaching the election process and it was neat to see how the kids got involved. They had their own opinions for the most part based off of their parents views but none the less it was neat to hear what they had to say. We even held our own elections and it was amazing to see who they elected as president. Amazingly enough there are studies that show that who the kids choose for president is who will be the next president! Here's one.
I came across this posting from a friend on Facebook and immediately went to this blog. Kevin is a friend of mine and a pastor/church planter. We were blessed to be a part of his adult team until he and his family went on to plant a church in Colorado. We love this family and I love reading their blogs. This one is a definite must read. Kevin wrote this blog recently and I loved it. I tend to not get too involved in political discussions. Too heated for me. However, my stance is that God is in control. He has who He wants in command when He wants them in command. He uses them. Look at Pharaoh! Our job is to vote and pray or rather pray first and then vote! :)
I've also felt that if you don't vote then don't complain!! Although we shouldn't complain anyway. But that is for another posting! :)
Go and read Kevin's blog and by all means go and VOTE!
