This past weekend Jon and our good friend Billy Shelton ran in the inagural Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in San Antonio. What a whirlwind it was. We started off with a visit to the grandparents (my parents) in Round Rock. We stayed there Friday night and then met up with Billy and his wife, Shelley, his sister, Mandy, and her roommate, Jenny. We all traveled down to San Antonio together. First stop-the expo where the guys picked up their packets and I finally got to meet the creator of the Running Divas line of clothing as well as purchase this shirt. I have been wanting the shirt since I saw it online. Then when the girls, the kids, and I ran into Jon he told me that Brian Sells was there. He is a runner who just ran in the marathon at the Olympics. Guess he was running the in this marathon or the half as well. Cool! Here are a few shots of the marathon. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics of Jon running. Once he saw us it was too late to get my camera out and chase him down! :(
