Family Fun Night

Every Tuesday night we have what we call Family Fun Night. It is a time where we spend time with only our family. We play games, watch movies and eat popcorn, or whatever we come up with. This Tuesday I decided that since it was close to Thanksgiving that we would celebrate it by making pilgrim hats. We made these last year and when Jake saw them he said that was what he wanted to do again. We had fun making them and as we waited for them to set we watched Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. No holiday is complete in my home without watching a Charlie Brown show!

Here are the ingredients if you are interested in making them:

Striped chocolate cookie (I used the Keebler cookies)

Chocolate chips

Large marshmallows

Yellow decorator icing for the buckle

Turn the cookie over to where the chocolate side is up. Melt chocolate chips. Pierce the large marshmallow with a toothpick and dip in the melted chocolate. Place the marshmallow on the cookie. Let them set. Once set draw on the buckle.
