Am I Like Peter???

Yup!!!! I just got done studying Matthew 26 and while I was reading it I was thinking how I am just like Peter. Peter was told by Jesus at this time that he would deny Jesus. Peter, ever quick to react, said, "Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will." (Matthew 26:33)Pretty bold statement to tell Jesus...WHO KNOWS EVERYTHING!!! Yet, I dare say "NEVER" to something only to fail family, friends, or worse-Jesus. So, yes I stated in the previous blog how I said never to getting a minivan only to purchase one this past weekend. Not that big of a deal yet, how many other times have I said never? That word just needs to be erased from my vocabulary!!!
